Lothar Krebs, born 61 in Hanau, Germany, grew up in Sri Lanka, Persia and Africa. As a teenager he took private art lessons with Sir J.C. Amerasekera at the Ceylon Art School before he returned to Germany to study graphics and book-design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Offenbach.

During his days at the university the aficionado of collector‘s comics and enthusiastic rebuilder of old racing cars started to work as caricaturist und action-painter for events.

Besides his first own exhibitions of paintings in New Orleans and San Francisco and a long list of illustration jobs in and outside of Germany he became part of the KaHouse Artist Family where he started to work with GAX on the development of fine arts as an interactive communication tool.

With sensibility and intuition Lothar Krebs researched the visual languages and subjects of many cultures to develop a symbolic  and impressive style of his own combining tribal art and modern designs for the KrAXWORX. The design of trade fair booths and some wall-paintings like for the Schott Glass Museums in Jena became part of the Corporate Artwork Projects that the KaHouse realised for their clients.

As author and director GAX occupied himself with different media and arts before he specialised on the multi-medial put-in-scene of events. together with his mates from the KaHouse Artist Family he created a wide range of industrial musicals und multimedia shows for different events.
